Our day started on Monday morning. I dressed in my rainbow gown as Aaron took a shower. I waited for him in the setting room so he'd see me in the gown he didn't know I had. He came out, dressed in blue, his hair slicked back. He told me I was pretty and that he liked my dress. That was good enough for me.

We waited for my sister to show up and we sat around talking, me eating crackers to settle my stomach. I felt like I had a virus but Mom and Aaron told me it was my nerves. Thing is, I was not nervous at all about our little wedding. I was very calm, actually.

We drove to our county seat and filled out our paper work, paid the clerk and went to the magister. He wasn't there! So, we headed out to have Chinese at a local resturant. We went back after the staff came back from lunch and met with the magister. The wedding was started quickly and went smoothly... both of us saying our vows smoothly.

Aaron said his best... with feeling and surety. My mom even commented on it later.

We left the court house as man and wife... but I didn't feel any different. Even after months of marriage I still don't. I'm just hanging out with my best friend and making love to my lover.
