Fire Fly (second) : By Jade
Nova is Zoe. Zoe is strong-willed and single-minded. While she doesn’t always agree with her captain, she follows and always has his back. She is loyal to the end, and regardless of the hard life she’s led, she has a deep love for her husband and would risk life and limb for him. She is not always as cynical as she appears, and even manages rare laughter with Wash.
Leia is River. River was the victim of government experimentation, and as a result, her mind is not solid. After she was rescued from the facility by her brother, she needed a good deal of looking after, but she soon proved able to take care of herself. She tends to get herself into trouble via wandering and her inability to control her mouth. Though she is not entirely stable, she is perhaps the most gifted and intelligent of the crew.
Arwen is Mal. Mal is a rogue and a soldier, through and through. Though he lost the war, part of him has not given up on the fight, and he does his best to stick it to the Alliance in his own way. He likes to appear more hard-hearted than he actually is, and often sacrifices himself for his crew, even when they beg him not to. The only thing that truly matter to Mal is staying in the sky and keeping his crew safe.
Jade is Simon. Simon was one of the most successful students in his class and served as a trauma surgeon for a time before he went to River’s rescue. He shares a special bond with her as her brother and seems to be the only one able or willing to understand her most of the time. Most think him to be a push over because of his proper demeanor and posh attire, but he is willing to do whatever it takes to protect those he loves.
Nova is Zidler. Harold Zidler is the head of the Moulin Rouge. He watches over every patron and dancer there carefully, and nothing slips past his field of vision… even if it sometimes confuses him. He manages to gain control of even the most delicate or chaotic situation and is often a mentor to those in the bordello.
Leia is Satine. Satine is sassy, sexy, and talented. Most of what appears before the patrons is an act concocted to generate interest and money. Below this exterior, she wants nothing more than to be freed of her obligations to bed men and become a real actress. She thinks herself incapable of loving another until she meets Christian and discovers that true love can set her free.
Jade is Christian. Christian is a writer, lover, and dreamer. He purposely gives up a better life for one amongst other artists such as himself so that he may discover what he’s always longed for: love. As a creative person, he excels in everything he puts his hand to. He falls for Satine on sight and makes it his mission to woo her, which he does very successfully. In the face of tragedy, he draws in on himself and is as deeply affected by it as he was by true love, but he never gives up his quest to write their story.
Nova is Reed. Reed is extremely scientific minded and devoted to all scientific endeavors. Sometimes his zeal for experiments and technology can be so great that he appears unemotional or unaffected by those he loves and has a lot of trouble expressing himself. He faces rejection in all fields with a stalwart mindset, promising himself to do better the next time around. He proves himself to be a good leader, and even manages to break down his own anti-emotional walls.
Leia is Sue. Sue is intelligent, beautiful, and strong-willed. She has made her way up the ladder in a man’s world but that doesn’t make her afraid of being a sexual creature. She has both a love and hate for Reed, and this intense animosity stems from feeling rejected. Reed chose to ignore her and become afraid when she asked him to step out of his safe, scientific walls, and Sue needed to step out on her own to find that she still loved him as much as she always had. But still the rejection left her feeling unwanted, and it took a lot of work on Reed’s part to regain her heart.
Arwen is Johnny. Johnny, Sue’s brother, is a thrill seeker. He’s willing to try anything once if it means getting an adrenaline rush, and he faces everything (including the frightening new powers each of them are given) with enthusiasm. He also has a sense of humor as bright and unrestrained as his own powers, and often cracks jokes to lighten the mood. He also like attention and tends to hog the spotlight as he looks for his next, big thrill.
Jade is Ben. Ben was affected the most dramatically by the space station catastrophe, and as a result he has no control over his power. While the others can turn theirs on or off like a switch, Ben is doomed to walk around in rocky, orange skin at all times. He is shunned and feared by his own wife and cannot even play hero without the people he saves being terrified of him. He makes many sacrifices for his teammates, and eventually learns that there is such a thing as true love even for someone as unconventional as he.
Nova is Dream. Dream (AKA Morpheus) is the Lord and Master of all dreams and nightmares. He can be a very serious, dark entity and does not take pain (whether it be his own or that of another) lightly. He deals out punishment to those that act against him in a just manner, and treats all creature equally. While he can be relentless, he is also merciful. His imagination and talent know no bounds.
Leia is Delirium. Delirium was once Delight, but became transformed early on. She is generally random and cannot carry on a conversation without wandering to an unrelated and odd topic. To her, there really is no such thing as a train of thought, and she rarely ever makes sense. Even still, her brothers and sisters in the Endless are fond of her and allow her random outbursts.
Arwen is Death. Death is surprisingly bright and bubbly. She is also the most truthful and straightforward of the Endless. She doesn’t beat around the bush, finding it much easier to simply say exactly what is on her mind. She is not intimidating, though she does have a temper that tends to stem more from frustration over stupidity than anything. She is honest with all those she takes to the other side, and she does her job well.
Jade is Desire. Desire is neither male nor female. It is whatever you wish for it to be. Desire is attractive to anyone regardless of their point of view and very charming. It smiles devilishly and always seems to have an ulterior motive. Desire likes to meddle but can also be distant depending on its mood. Intense lust defines this member of the Endless.
FIRE FLY : By Mona Leia
Nova is Shepherd Book. In the world of Firefly, a Shepherd is something like a priest, much like our very own "High Priestess". Book is the voice of spirituality and though not everyone shares his beliefs, he is very secure in them and at peace with himself. He may not agree with what some of the crew members do, but he is always there reminding them of what is right. He guides them but with love, not with force. That's our Nova!
Jade is Wash. The pilot of the ship and certainly the wittiest, Wash always has a wisecrack. But despite being well-known for his clever tongue, Wash is also known for being a very loving person. He is married to Zoe and the pair share a very loving relationship. Like Jade, love is very important to Wash, as well as sexuality. He often makes comments alluding to his relations with his wife and there is no doubt that he takes a great deal of joy in it!
Mona Leia is Inara. Being a Companion by trade, Inara often works independent of the crew. Despite insisting she is not a member of the crew, she finds herself drawn to them and becomes involved in many of their schemes. Inara is very cultured and elegant, as well as very knowledgeable, but when it comes down to it, despite her proclaimed independence, she truly enjoys the wildness of the smuggler's life on Serenity.
Arwen is Kaylee. Like our youngest sister, Kaylee is a unique personality! Always upbeat and cheerful, Kaylee is a friend to all the crew. She's very positive and optimistic and she gets along with just about everyone. Despite her cheery demeanor, Kaylee is a mechanic and a very skilled one at that. She's most comfortable in work clothes and talking shop. She's laid back, easy-going, and unpretentious, just like our Arwen!
RENT! : By Mona Leia
Nova is Mark. Mark is what one would call a starving artist. He is a film maker who is determined to be true to his art and not sell out. Mark is obsessed with the idea of family and community but when it comes with interacting with others, he uses his camera as a shield. In order to protect himself from hurt, he sometimes would rather just observe than participate with the emotions of his friends. Deep down, however, he wants connection more than anything and he deeply values the friendship of those around him.
To being an us for once, instead of a them...
Jade is Collins. This was a tough call for me but I decided that Collins and Jade share the same gentle nature. Collins is a gentle, loving soul with big dreams. He has some bad luck but he finds the love of his life in Angel and love means everything to him. Despite unfortunate circumstances, Collins figures out ways to work through them, never forgetting about his dreams. Even when tragedy hits, he holds on to love and the power it holds.
I've longed to discover something as true as this is...
Mona Leia is Mimi. Not a part of the original group, Mimi sort of wormed her way into the group through cleverness and her need of closeness. She can be a bit needy of affection and attention but she is willing to give as much back in return. She loves a good time and when in the mood, can be very persistant but she is also sensitive and will back off when she needs space, or when she feels hurt in any way.
I've had a knack from way back at breaking the rules once I learn the games...
Arwen is Maureen. Maureen is an actress and no one can tell her otherwise. She lives to be in the limelight and she loves being the center of attention. In addition to that, she has this appeal that no one can quite explain. People are drawn to Maureen and even she doesn't even understand it. Because of this, she can inadvertantly upset people because in her need to please everyone, she spreads herself too thin. Still, Maureen is an essentially happy person who loves being around all these people and she demands that people just accept her for who she is. She's an opinionated woman and she wants her ideas heard.

The Pevensies of Narnia : By Jade
Nova is Peter the Magnificent. Because the Pevensies father died at war, Peter became the default “man of the house”, taking up the protective father-role, which Nova seems to fill among the sisters. Peter had a tendency to push rules and regulations on the others simply because he thought it was best for them and was expected to lead even when he didn’t always feel capable. In the end, he was capable, and the other children learned to trust his sound judgment.
Jade is Susan the Gentle. Susan was the second oldest, and therefore a mother-figure to the other children. When they needed compassion, she was there. She had the most difficulty in adjusting because of her stalwart logic which had no place in a fantastical world like Narnia. She also had a tendency to speak her mind without regard to who might be offended. Eventually, Susan learned to lighten up and trust in Narnia’s magic, becoming more tactful with her siblings when she realized the damage it could do.
Mona Leia is Edmund the Just. Edmund was the wanderer and the “prodigal son”. Though his motives were selfish and Leia’s aren’t quite that, the theme is still there. Edmund had to go on his own and discover how much he needed the love and support of his siblings before he could return to them. Once he realized this, his bond to them and his bravery were stronger than they’d ever been. Even if he still was the odd man out from time to time. ;)
Arwen is Lucy the Valiant. Just like Lucy, Arwen is always the first one to jump into excitement. Also, despite being the youngest, Lucy is still one of the brightest and bravest among the Pevensies. She believed wholeheartedly in friendship and her siblings, never doubting, even when Edmund wandered from them. She proved herself a true hero against adversity and was just plain adorable. :D

Nova is Ginnie, the oldest and only married sister of the four Sorelli women. Ginnie is in control of her life and she doesn't like unexpected surprises, at least, not ones she's unprepared for! Change needs to happen on her terms or she's liable to get a little freaked out. Like Nova, Ginnie sees the world in black and white in terms of morality: things are either good or bad. Because of this, she and Marjee frequently butt heads. Even so, she's a very protective, loving older sister and all of her younger sisters always seem to find their way to her when they need advice, even Marjee. Ginnie strives for perfection in all that she does and she usually can do anything she sets her mind to.
Jade is Anne, the second born Sorelli sister. Anne is a kind, compassionate woman. In fact, she's a therapist because of her desire to help people. She is the kind of person that anyone can open up to, just like Jade! Anne is a hopeless romantic. Coming out of a long-term relationship, she strives for intimacy but realizes that though she thought she wouldn't have a problem with it, she's just not a "fling" girl and she truly does prefer love and meaningful sex. But that doesn't seem to stop her from having sex... and sometimes regretting it. Still, she's big-hearted, open-minded and very loving, very much like Jade.
Mona Leia is Marjee, the third sister in the family. Marjee is the family rebel. She loves to party and have a good time and sometimes, she can't help doing so even if it's not the best time to be doing it. She is drawn to excitement and can be very restless. She can be irresponsible and flaky at times and she often goes head-to-head with Ginnie because their differing belief systems. All the same, she has good intentions and cares deeply for her sisters, even if sometimes she feels the need to back off or contradict for the sake of contradicting. She still is always there for them and she treasures her place in the family, even if she denies it sometimes.
Arwen is Rose, the youngest Sorelli sister. Rose had always been predictable and reliable... until recently. Growing into adulthood, Rose is learning what it is she truly wants in life and is beginning to defy conventions and rebel. While it can be unsettling to her sisters at times, they love and respect her all the more for learning what her true passions are. Rose has a passion for acting and is determined to succeed. She is extremely intelligent and with her kind, almost innocent nature, she draws people to her, just like Arwen does. She always sees the best in people, even if they have wronged her but she will stand up for what she believes in. Like Arwen, Rose is growing into a strong individual and maturing to be a bright and intelligent young woman. She loves her sisters, often seeking their advice, but not always taking it. Afterall, she needs to spread her wings and explore options on her own.
The Dark Tower : By Jade
Nova is Roland. Roland is the default leader because he started it all and knows the journey better than the others. He believes in Ka (fate), is somewhat cynical, and explores his inner self often. He thinks deeply and doesn’t open up to others well, but when he makes friends, they are eternal. Who does that sound like?
Jade is Eddie. Eddie, on the surface, always has a humorous comment for everything. But beneath this is a deep soul and a warrior. He has fallen deeply in love and doesn’t let it hinder him even when he feels overwhelmed by it (very Jedi-like). He started out as nothing, having hit complete rock bottom, and Roland built him back up into a worthy gunslinger. Thanks, Nova.
Mona Leia is Susannah. Susannah is a strong female who is not always stable, but in many ways she is still the strongest and most reliable of them all. She is the female gentleness of the group, emotionally in tune with the others. But she is bluntly honest no matter the circumstances. Plus, Eddie and Suze have a very close connection. (They are in love, and Leia and I are twins... It sort of works, lol.) I see a lot of Leia in her.
Arwen is Oy. Oy is the billybumbler who is somewhat of a pet to Jake (the young boy of the group). Oy is adorable and has become a member of the group out of his constant helpfulness, and he is always surprising the others by how incredibly intelligent and knowing he is. Trust me, Arwen, it’s a compliment. *giggles*
Star Gate : By Nova
Nova is Teal'c. Unsmiling and least likely to react emotionally in a stressful situation, he is the calmest member of the group. He is loyal to his friends and hates tyranny. He meditates and believes deeply in family, tradition and their spiritual aspects. His humor has much to be desired. Though Nova does not have his bravery, it's something she's working on.
Arwen is Sam. Sam is intellegent, dedicated and eager. She has a sharp wit and a cool sense of humor. She's feminine and, though Arwen is more exhuberant than Sam, she has that same desire for learning new things and gaining new experiances. She is also fiercely supportive of her family.
Mona Leia is Daniel. Intelligent and witty, Daniel is the humanitarian of the group and does NOT take well to people treading on the rights of others. He's emotional, sarcastic and insightful. Daniel also takes the time to question things, including his very existance.
Jade is O'Niel. Humor, wit and sarcasm in it's best and brightest! Jack possesses the ability to attract all kinds. He makes a fine leader, inspiring those around him. When he becomes angry, no one has to tell you what it's about.
Charmed : By Leia
Nova is Prue. Prue is the oldest and the natural leader. She has the most experience and thus, takes charge in situations. She has a direct approach and no-nonsense manner when handling problems but being the oldest, she feels the need to be the strongest as well and she is more apt to try to handle her problems on her own, resisting. She also has an aptitude for things mystical in nature.
Jade is Piper. Jade, like Piper, is the middle sister. She serves as the mediator because she seems to be able to get along with everyone. She also is the wittiest of the sisters with an amazing way with words a sarcastic sense of humor. Piper tends to be the worrier among the sisters and Jade, too, has a tendency to worry. In addition to that, love and family are very important to her.
Arwen is Phoebe. The original youngest, Phoebe loves to have a good time and has a lively, infectious personality. She also can sometimes become caught up in her excessive responsibilities, often taking on more than she handle, but deep down, she just wants to have a good time.
Mona Leia is Paige. While not the literal youngest sister, I am the newest force sister. I'm the "long-lost sister" coming late into the fold but not any less important than the others. Paige tends to be independent and fun-loving but also a bit rash and sometimes she goes overboard trying to prove herself. She loves bright colors and unusual clothing but tends to have a bit of a rebellious streak.
X-Men : By Jade
Nova is Storm. Storm is wise beyond her years and a powerful, spiritual force. Her powers are elemental and nearly mystical, which automatically makes me think of Nova’s connection with things of that nature. When the other X-Men need guidance, Storm is usually a good source for it. She can be a loner, but deep down she is drawn to her teammates.
Leia is Rogue. Rogue feels like the most isolated out of any mutant in the group due to her inability to touch others. She is vulnerable, but her struggles make her stronger. Also, she never lets her fear overcome her and finds ways to use her pain to help others. Leia, you’re so Rogue.
Jade is Nightcrawler. Nightcrawler is fun-loving and innocent for the most part, but he also possesses a serious side that consists of a solid faith in his religious beliefs. In this way, he is almost dual sided, as I can also be. He is also a good leader when given the opportunity and manages to keep even the gruffest members of the team lighthearted.
Arwen is Gambit. Gambit has a roguish attitude and a wry sense of humor, which reminds me a great deal of Arwen. He is also tough to his very core and never backs down. He deals with tough situations in a natural, level-headed, laid-back way that Arwen also exhibits when things get tough.
Hercules/Xena : By Arwen
Nova is Hercules: Hercules is the natural leader of any group he enters, not because he wants to be, but because those around him feel instant respect towards him. He is always the calm and secure figure that everyone can count on to keep a cool head in tough situations. He always watches out for everyone around him, even his own expense. He keeps everyone in order and at even ends with eachother.
Jade is Iolas: Iolas is deffently the joker out of the group. He always knows how to have fun and crack jokes, even in the middle of a battle. He can be very level headed when need be, and finds it deep down with-in himself to over come many obsticals that he never thought he could get past. He has a very sensitive side and is easly hurt, but he can often find it with-in himself to push those feelings down and work through them with cool intelect.
Leia is Gabrielle: Gabrielle also wants to be different from everyone around her. She has a rougish personality and always does the exact oppisite of what you tell her. She also has a wonderful sense of humor that often matches Iolas' (tieing in the fact that Leia and Jade are twins). She can be extreamly serious at times, especially so if she thinks one of her loved ones are in danger. She often gets a sense of being left out of somethings, and gets upset if she is the last to know something. She is extreamly stubborn and it's extreamly hard to change her mind if it's set on something. And Gabrielle has the most complex feelings, there for, fitting Leia even more...
Arwen is Xena: Xena has inner demons that she still has to work out, things in her past and feelings about herself that she still strugles with. She has a dark side to her, though it rarely comes out, but when it does it's like a bomb has hit (and I've just recently realized that I do that). She is strong, both mentall and physically, though she often lets her emotions run away with her and will jump into something head first with out checking out all the facts. She is fericly loyal and would lay down her life for any of her loved ones. She has an odd sense of humor that some times comes out at the wrong time.
Looney Tunes : By Jade
Nova is Foghorn Leghorn. Which is to say, Southern and loud! Just joshing, though there is a Southern connection. Foghorn definitely has a way of telling it like it is, and so does Nova. Also, he became a mentor to the little Chickenhawk, and Nova is a mentor to our little group.
Jade is Daffy Duck. Daffy can be both hilariously wacky and completely enraged. And he can fluctuate from one to the other for any or no reason at all. He also has a kind of wit that might catch you off guard if you really take a listen.
Lisa is Tweety. So sweet appearing, but crafty and knowing in reality. Though Sylvester always tries to catch Tweety, he never succeeds. Because Tweety is too quick for him! And even though he's so unassuming and cute, there's more going on in that head of his that he likes to let on.
Arwen is Bugs Bunny. Goofy and able to say things in such a way that you can't help but laugh... That's Arwen to a tee. Also, like Bugs, Arwen is never without a sly plan dupe others, and that includes enemies and allies. I wonder how fond she is of carrots, though...
The Phantom of the Opera : By Jade
Jade is the Phantom. He has an intense hatred of his own appearance and is a tortured artist. He also lusts and longs for things he feels he will never have. And he is a force to be reckoned with when his temper is set off. Though, in having three sisters it becomes harder to understand such a profound loneliness…
Mona Leia is Christine. Not only is Christine a soprano like Leia, but she has a mixture of innocence and inner lusts that Leia is known for. ;) Also, she longs for living out her dreams and cannot stand the thought of being held captive even by someone she loves. She is also decisive, brave, doesn’t require anyone’s approval to go her own way.
Nova is Raoul. The brave knight in shining armor of the story, he was a stark contrast to the Phantom. He believed in right and wrong being black and white. He fought against the Phantom’s control over Christine, as Nova fights for Leia to be a good girl rather than a naughty one.
Arwen is Carlotta. Which is to say over-the-top and unintentionally hilarious. Seriously, though Carlotta is not as talented as Arwen, they both reveled in the arts. Carlotta also grabs anyone’s attention upon entering the room, and she will argue you into the ground about her beliefs and opinions. :p
American Gods : By Jade
Jade is Bast. The sexy cat goddess! Bast is playful and extremely observant. She also shows Shadow a great deal of kindness, in her own strange way.
Mona Leia is Sam. She is eccentric and fascinating with an off-the-wall personality all her own. When she gives a speech, it is nothing like you’ll ever hear from anyone else, and she means every word of it.
Nova is Shadow. He is quiet, enigmatic, and full of inner struggles. But you’d never know this unless you could read his thoughts. He is a private man who, despite the nature of what he goes through, takes everything in stride visibly and breaks down only within himself.
Arwen is Anansi. He was never truly a god, but he was definitely a legend. His anecdotes and pranks went down in history, and his stories remained told throughout the world, giving him the kind of staying power a god has. He was extremely amusing, but he was quite serious and intense when the chips were down.
