You and I would be best friends
We’d go out every night
I’d wear something pink
You know how I am
You’d wear something blue
Or purple
Or green
Who knows?
You’re not as predictable
I don’t dance
But you would make me
I’d blush, but I’d love it
You know how I am
You might drink a little
Hell, maybe I would to
You’d suggest something pink
I’d be unable to resist
I’m not usually like that
You know how I am
Perhaps I’d meet the man of my dreams
Or maybe just a guy
That’s fun too
You’d get to watch me be a tease
I can be loud and funny
You’d tell me he loves me
And I’d never believe it
The passionate, shy child
You know how I am
In the end
We leave them all behind
We’re one in two bodies
And utterly separate
Together forever and never
